A purple book
In late 1999 somebody took me to a London bookshop, selected a purple book from the shelf, opened it up and put it into my hands. When I looked down I saw a drawing of a human body with a structure around it. A strange sensation overwhelmed me - my whole body began to tingle as I looked at the page. The image was new yet strangely familiar. I decided to buy the book.
At home, I opened up the book - it was Kryon book 7 - and began to read. I got to the chapter about the EMF Balancing Technique. Right from the very first word, I was totally enthralled by it. I couldn't put it down! I became more and more excited as I rushed through the chapter. I read that the technique is very much like "tracing crop circle patterns through the human energy field". There was something about those words that touched me - my heart lurched and I instantly knew that this was what I was going to do.
A beautiful dance
A few months later on Practitioner Training I watched Peggy Phoenix Dubro perform graceful, fluid movements around someone's energy field and say aloud certain words. It looked like a beautiful dance. She seemed to be tracing different patterns through the energy field and although the general feel was very fluid, the movements had definite beginnings and stops - there was a definition about them that I liked. The words that I heard seemed to somehow 'fit' the movements. I had never seen anything like it and was fascinated - it all looked so new and different. I couldn't wait to try it myself!
The sessions themselves seemed to be made up of a sequence of these movements and words (spoken intents) - they were put together in a certain way and had a very real structure, which also appealed to me. I instantly understood and respected that there were reasons why they were being performed in this way and in this order - and it made sense that it was important to keep the sessions intact.
