She was brought up in a traditional home and went to church on Sundays. Already in her teens, so she tells, she yearned to experience the connection with God. If He exists, she said to herself, He must be also inside me, and I want to experience Him. And so it happened that in 1973 she went through the first experience, which she calls a state of consciousness of "no beginning and no end". This was a connection with the male aspect of divinity, and as she describes, she experienced the opening of the chakras, and unconditional love. It was also a pivotal point in her life, since from then onwards began the period which she names 'confused by the light'. She devoted all her energy in quest of the spiritual Source; "I wanted this energy and charge all the time," she says. For fifteen years she studied with a guru in India, with Indian shamans, with Brazilian priests. She has undergone scores of initiations, and practiced also Tai Chi and Kung Fu. "I had innumerable high visions," she says, "but I hadn't succeeded putting them into practice in my everyday life; my life did not reflect these high experiences; my life was not a mirror of the love I experienced in the connection with the Source above. And so I knew that I hadn't found yet what I was searching for."

Fifteen years later, in 1988, Dubro had the second experience of "no beginning and no end". This time she connected with the female aspect of divinity. During this experience she met a being in the name of Ahnya. Although she describes the experience as a connection with the female aspect of divinity, she says that this entity has no gender and it belongs to the Kryon entourage. Ahnya enabled Dubro to experience the Universal Calibration Lattice (UCL), and taught her the basic light templates necessary for the balance of this Lattice. Since then, Ahnya is the entity with which Dubro works. She guides her and protects her, enriches her with knowledge and energy, participates in all the workshops in which Dubro teaches, and also connects with all the practitioners who choose to work in this technique.

Following the experience of the connection with Ahnya, Dubro devoted thirteen years to the research and interpretation of the UCL. She studied it in details, and developed the first four phases of the EMF Balancing Technique.
